Dentex Industries Limited is a Kenyan manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging, established in 1986 when the company acquired a toothbrush manufacturing plant and began production with three injection moulding machines.
Forty years on, Dentex serves pharmaceutical, food & beverage, cosmetics, agrovet and industrial customers, growing step by step as markets changed.

From three injection moulding machines in 1986 to a growing rigid plastic packaging operation, Dentex’s story has been shaped by adaptation, investment and long-term relationships.
1986
Where it began
Dentex began after acquiring a toothbrush manufacturing plant and started operations with three injection moulding machines.
1990s
New opportunities
When imported toothbrushes changed the market, Dentex adapted and diversified into pharmaceutical packaging and other plastic products.
2000s
Expanding the range
Dentex expanded into food packaging, cutlery and a wider range of plastic products.
2000s
Industrial packaging and PET
Dentex moved into industrial packaging through extrusion blow moulding, and later invested in PET preforms and PET bottles.
